Hawthorn Berry Isolate/Heart Tonic
This is an old-time formula from Potters Cyclopaedia of Botanical Drugs and Preparations from England. It supports all functions of the heart.
Ingredients: Hawthorne Berry, structured water, Vegetable glycerin,
alcohol.

Origin: Poland/Hungary
Therapeutic actions: Antispasmodic; Astringent; Cardiotonic; Diuretic; Hypotensive; Sedative; Tonic; Vasodilator.
Nutrients: Amino acids, calcium, choline, chromium, essential fatty acids, iron, magnesium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, selenium, silicon, zinc, vitamins A, B1, B2, B3 and C.
Drug interactions: Check with physician if on Digoxin.
Description: It is one of the most valuable herbs for the heart and circulation.
Internal uses: The berries reduce high blood pressure caused by hardening of the arteries and kidney disease. The leaves are used for those with heart-valve disease. Has the ability to both lower high blood pressure and to bring low blood pressure back to normal. Other uses: angina, irregular heartbeat, spasm of the arteries (as with Reynaud's disease) and insomnia with a nervous origin. The Chinese use the berries as
a digestive aid. The French use them to treat dyspepsia and diarrhea. Also good for early stage of Congestive Heart failure, angina and Cardiomyopathy.
Suggested dosage: 30--80 mg. Tincture 4--5 ml 3 times daily.
