Triphala is an important Ayurvedic medicinal mixture of three herbs native to India. Overall, they found that the triphala extract was, in fact, able to suppress the spread of and induce cell death of human colon cancer stem cells making it worthy of further research as a natural anti-cancer treatment. Usually taken on an empty stomach, or in the evening, 2 hours after a meal and/or 30 minutes before bedtime.

Description: The fruit of the tree is used as a treatment for common ailments like bacterial and viral infections. This potent herbal remedy has a variety of uses and may help treat a wide array of medical issues. In particular, Bibhitaki has been researched for its anti-inflammatory properties. In one study, 500 mg of Terminalia bellirica substantially reduced uric acid levels in patients with gout, an inflammatory condition characterized by the buildup of uric acid in the body. Bibhitaki is also commonly used to help with rheumatism, diabetes and blood sugar imbalance. This is because Bibhitaki is high in gallic acid and ellagic acid, two phytochemicals that have beneficial effects on blood sugar levels, insulin sensitivity and body weight. These plant chemicals help promote insulin secretion from the pancreas and have been shown to reduce high blood sugar and improve insulin resistance in animal studies.

Description: In Ayurveda is often referred to the "king of medicines". This plant is known as "Haritaki" in Ayurveda, where the small, green fruit of the Terminalia chebula tree is used as medicine. It is one of the main components of Triphala. It has been used since ancient times as a remedy for a number of conditions, including heart disease, asthma, dementia, diabetes, ulcers and stomach ailments. Studies have shown that haritaki has powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Additionally, Haritaki is popularly used in Ayurvedic medicine to treat digestive issues like constipation. Animal studies have shown that treatment with Haritaki increases intestinal transit time, which can help relieve constipation.
Suggested dosage for tincture: 30 drops 1-3 times per day, preferably before meals.
