This is a

Description: Artichoke Leaf has been used in the treatment of dyspeptic and

digestion, dyspepsia, flatulence, gallstones, liver, nausea, triglycerides,
diabetes, IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), gallbladder, high cholesterol,
hypertension, anemia, diarrhea, fevers, ulcers and gout.
Suggested dosage: 1-4
grams 3 times daily.
CAUTION: Do not take if you have gall stones or bile
duct occlusion.

has been used in the treatment of gall bladder and urinary disorders. It is a

Internal uses: Pregnancy
and postpartum support. A blood purifier used for liver and kidney disorders.
It contains nutritive salts to build up the blood. It has a mild laxative
effect. It increases bile production and stimulates its flow to the
gallbladder, where it also causes contractions and the release of bile. Has
been used for gallstones, jaundice, cirrhosis, dyspepsia with constipation,
edema associated with high blood pressure and heart weakness, chronic joint and
skin complaints, gout, eczema and acne. The plant has an anti-bacterial action,
inhibiting the growth of Staphylococcus aureus, Pneumococcal, Meningococcal,
Bacillus dysenteries, B. typhi, C. diphtheriae, Proteus etc. Other uses : eczema (combine with Chickweed),
skin diseases, scurvy, jaundice, gall bladder, mental fatigue, leg cramps,
